The Thermonic Automatic Power Factor Correction (APFC) Panel is an intelligent system designed to maintain the power factor of electrical networks automatically. It continuously monitors reactive power consumption and switches capacitor banks in or out using microprocessor-based APFC relays to achieve the desired power factor, thus improving energy efficiency and reducing penalties from electricity boards.
